Join our expert GP tutors for this 1-day, face-to-face course on Minor illnesses affecting the abdominal, respiratory and ENT systems.
This hands-on course is overseen by General Practitioners’ and Advanced Clinical Practitioners and will provide you with the opportunity to learn and master physical and clinical assessment skills to diagnose common presentations.
Dr Nadeem Akhtar, MB ChB, will be clinical lead on the day. Dr Nadeem Akhtar is a General Practitoner (GP), GP Partner at Spring Hall Group Practice and GP trainer and Training Programme Director for Pennine GP training Scheme.
By the end of this course you will be able to:
- Undertake clinical examination of the Abdominal, respiratory and ENT systems
- Familarise yourselves with the treatment pathways of minor illnesses
- Approach your employer(s) with confidence when setting up a clinic of your own
